As a child, I wanted to save baby harp seals, but a fear of sharks drove me to human rights law. Cold-blooded folks in suits turned me to documentary filmmaking, which became a springboard into what I am now: an advocacy communications professional who stubbornly believes the world could be just, equitable, and peaceful.
Mid-pandemic, I up and left the place I'd called home for 15+ years to try living around the world in other people's houses with other people's pets. While reconnecting with the joy of living, I also reconnected with the joy of writing.
I write on a variety of topics, which I aim to gather into story lists. My writing is 100% me - no A.I. at any step. I know the world doesn't need more content; it needs more quality content. I set a goal of writing weekly so each piece can be thoughtful. The discipline of writing helps me organize my thoughts, and I hope the final products inspire purposeful living and bridging divides -- and having fun as we all live the one "wild and precious life" we get this round.
